What is a Drop?
A limited preorder window. You pick the items, stock, open and close times, and pickup. Customers pay when they order.
Is it free?
Yes, Drops are on every plan. Free runs 1 at a time, Standard 3, Premium unlimited. No monthly fee on Free. Dished takes 5% per payment collected on Free, 3.4% on Standard and 1.8% on Premium. Stripe processing fees also apply.
What happens when something sells out?
It is marked sold out right away, and stock is checked again at checkout so the last one can only sell once.
Can I limit how many one customer buys?
Yes, set a limit per customer.
What do I need before publishing a Drop?
Connect Stripe and have a verified, published order form with online payments enabled. Choose items from that form, then set your stock, ordering window and fulfillment time.
Do customers pay in full?
Customers pay at checkout. Your linked order form determines whether they pay in full or can pay a deposit. A temporary checkout hold is not a confirmed order until payment succeeds.
Can Dished AI help with my Drops?
On Premium, Dished AI (Beta) can answer questions about your Drops, including dates, available stock and order totals. It reads your business data without changing your Drops. Always check important answers.
